Ralph Oberg

My art career has spanned 50+ years, and I’m fortunate to still be at it. I have shown with the Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale since the 1980s and was honored with the 1988 Bill Weiss Purchase Award, 1992 Juror’s Choice Award, and 2024 Spirit of the Buffalo Bill Art Show Award. My work focuses on the mountain landscapes, lifestyles, and wildlife of the American West, though travels to the Alps and Himalaya broadened my interests. I have exhibited with Prix de West for 20 years and received the 2020 Wilson Hurley Landscape Award. Other honors include the 2014 California Art Club Gold Medal and 2019 Briscoe Western Art Museum Purchase Award, plus exhibitions at Woolaroc, Autry, Eiteljorg, and the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
