Julie Oriet
Growing up in the Gallatin Valley near Bozeman, Montana, big skies and open spaces have always fascinated Julie Oriet. Her enthusiasm for the West, as well as travels around the world, continue to inspire ideas for future paintings. She paints the subjects she has experienced and studied. Julie participates in numerous national and museum shows each year such as: The Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale, C.M. Russel Auction & Exhibition, Cowgirl Up!, Heart of the West at the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall, Small Works, Great Wonder, at the national Cowboy Museum and Hall of Fame. Her paintings are in the permanent collections at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, Cody, WY and the Brinton Museum, Big Horn, WY. Her work has been featured in Art of the West, Southwest Art, Western Art Collector, Western Art and Architecture, and Travel Africa.
