Our Approach

The Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale is an invitational show. Each year, our Artist Selection Committee, comprised of industry professionals, conducts a thorough review of the contemporary Western art landscape. The committee evaluates artists through a variety of sources, including exhibitions, galleries, publications, museums, and peer recommendations, with the goal of identifying artists whose work aligns with the vision and standards of the show.

Artists who would like to introduce their work to the Artist Selection Committee are welcome to submit the information form below. Submission of this form does not constitute an application, guarantee review, or imply future invitation. Rather, it serves as a resource that may assist the committee in becoming familiar with artists whose work they may not otherwise encounter during their ongoing research and evaluation process.

As the committee considers an artist's overall body of work rather than individual pieces, a comprehensive website is highly encouraged. If you do not maintain a website, please provide a link to a shared folder containing multiple examples of your work in the Website URL field below. This allows the committee to gain a broader understanding of your artistic practice, style, and consistency of work.

Artists selected for invitation are typically notified by the end of the calendar year for participation in the following year's Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale.
