Joel Ostlind

Born in Wyoming, Joel spent part of his life horseback cowboying on ranches in Wyoming, Texas, Oregon and Montana. He tries to incorporate the respect of “things cowboy” into his work. “I was raised in Wyoming and seemed to have circled back to work at interpreting what I value here: The light, the land and the people that move through it.” Known primary for etchings, Joels’ paintings broaden his reach.
