Paul Waldum
Paul Waldum, a native of Livingston, MT, developed an appreciation for nature as a boy while hiking and climbing mountains near his hometown. The memories of those adventures left lasting sketches in his mind. Waldum's paintings have appeared at the Brinton Museum, Big Horn, WY; the Yellowstone Are Museum Invitational, Billings, MT; the Nicholaysen Art Museum, Casper, WY; and the C.M. Russell Museum, Great Falls, MT. Waldum received the Wells Fargo Gold Award at the 2012 Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale, Cody, WY. In 2018, Paul had a one-person show at the Brinton Museum. Also in 2018, Paul donated a 60"x96" oil painting of the Missouri River for the new Norm Asbjornson Hall at Montana State University. Paul is a professor in the Honors College at Montana State University. In 2021 he was awarded the Spirit of Discovery Award through the Honors College. Paul and his wife live in Livingston, Montana.
