Paul Waldum

Paul Waldum, a native of Livingston, Montana, developed a lifelong connection to nature through early mountain explorations. His work has been exhibited at the Brinton Museum, Yellowstone Art Museum, Nicholaysen Art Museum, and C. M. Russell Museum. He received the Wells Fargo Gold Award at the Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale in 2012. A retired Honors College professor at Montana State University, he earned the Spirit of Discovery Award in 2021 and presented a TEDx talk in 2024. Waldum was featured in the 2026 exhibition Absarokas “The Mountains Between Two Rivers.” for the Depot Museum in his hometown of Livingston.
