Dennis Ziemienski

A native San Franciscan, Dennis graduated cum laude from the California College of the Arts.  Interest in representational drawing and painting eventually led him to New York and a successful career in illustration. He has spent the last many years concentrating on painting his love of the West; from the Pacific Ocean to the Rocky Mountains and into the cultures of the Southwest. Dennis’ work is in the permanent collections of The Whitney Western Art Museum at The Buffalo Bill Center of the West, Tucson Museum of Art, Booth Western Art Museum, Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West and Bakersfield Museum of Art. In 2024 Dennis was also asked to participate in the Masters of the American West at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles and the Coors Western Art sale in Denver.
