Laurie J. Lee

Laurie J. Lee usually paints western themes - drawn, in part, from helping with local cattle drives, attending brandings, and generally living life out West. Her work has been featured in Western Horseman, Art - Talk, Equine Images, Art of the West, and other publications. In 2012, Lee received the Award of Excellence sponsored by Western Art Collector at Cowgirl Up! Invitational Exhibition & Sale at Desert Caballeros Western Museum. She received the Cameco Resources Purchase Award at Cheyenne Frontier Days Western Art Show and Sale in 2012, and her piece was also selected as the Limited Edition Print. Laurie was the recipient of the Peter Fillerup Award at the 2019 Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale. In 2023, Laurie was featured in the March issue of Art of the West and in the August issue of Art and Architecture.
