Charlie Hunter
Charlie Hunter's distinctive, muted palette and superb draftsmanship have won him numerous awards and accolades. As Richard Schmid wrote of Hunter, “if it is within the realm of human evolution, or the whim of the Divine, to allow one individual to possess the gift of a natural sense of design, then Charlie Hunter is certainly the lucky winner.” He lives and works in Bellows Falls, Vermont, an old mill town on the Connecticut River. Recent one-person shows in Santa Fe and Bozeman have cemented his reputation as an innovative voice in contemporary realism.
