Step into a colorful conversation where Western tradition meets the punch of Pop Art. This Lunch & Lecture highlights the Whitney Western Art Museum’s newest exhibition, POP! Goes the West, which brings together bold works by Andy Warhol and others who blur the lines between cowboy culture and contemporary cool.
From playful reimaginings to thought-provoking twists, join Whitney Western Art Museum curators Susan Barnett and Ashlea Espinal to discover how today’s artists are pushing Western art in surprising directions—while still keeping one boot firmly planted in its familiar themes.
