Paul Rhymer
In 1984 Paul started at the Smithsonian Institution for 25 years as a taxidermist and model maker. In the tradition of taxidermists both past and present, his personal art evolved from painting to sculpture. His first bronze was cast in 1999. Being an avid hunter, fisher, and birder he has a year round source for inspiration for his work. His work can be found in museums, zoos, parks and private collections throughout the country.
