
Paul Waldum, a native of Livingston, Montana, developed an appreciation for nature as a boy while hiking and climbing mountains near his hometown. The memories of those adventures left lasting sketches in his mind. Waldum’s paintings have appeared at the Brinton Museum, Big Horn, Wyoming; the Yellowstone Art Museum Invitational, Billings, Montana; the Nicholaysen Art Museum Invitational, Casper, Wyoming; the Hockaday Museum of Art Invitational, Kalispell, Montana; the C.M. Russell Museum; and Settlers West Miniature Show, Tucson, Arizona. Waldum received the Wells Fargo Gold Award at the 2012 Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale.
